Eurecat, acting as the project’s coordinator, participated in the European Powder Metallurgy Congress (EuroPM2024) held from September 29 to October 2 in Malmö, Sweden.
Sergi Parareda, project’s technical coordinator and researcher at Metal and Ceramic Materials Unit of Eurecat, delivered a presentation titled “Assessing the Fatigue Behaviour of Different Powder Bed Fusion Additive Manufacturing Technologies Stainless Steel 316 L Specimens Through the Stiffness Method”.
The presentation introduced the rapid fatigue test method known as the stiffness method developed by Eurecat in the frame of the Flexcrash project for additive manufactured metallic materials.
Organized by the European Powder Metallurgy Association, the EuroPM2024 Congress is a key gathering for the global powder metallurgy community, bringing together suppliers, producers, and end-users to explore the latest advancements in PM technology.
