The FlexCrash project was showcased during the Advanced Factories Congress, the annual meeting for pioneers in industrial innovation, held from April 9th to 11th in Barcelona.
Acting as the project’s coordinator, Eurecat Technology Centre, attended the event and included FlexCrash into its corporate catalogue, which has been distributed online and also to all attendants approaching its booth (D513) located at Hall 4.
During the event, Eurecat presented detailed information about different projects and initiatives offering visitors a comprehensive look at its efforts in various areas such as advanced manufacturing, robotics, industrial digitalisation and printed electronics.
FlexCrash is working to promote the new generation of crash-tolerant vehicle structures by developing a flexible and hybrid manufacturing technology to produce tailored adaptive crash-tolerant structures made of green aluminium alloys.
