Eurecat, the FLEXCRASH project coordinator, participated in ExpoBages, a multisectoral fair of reference in the region, which took place from 19th – 21st of May 2023 in Manresa (Barcelona, Spain).
The project was included in the general rollup located in Eurecat’s booth as one of the key European mobility and automotive projects of the centre, developing a flexible and hybrid manufacturing technology to produce tailored adaptive crash-tolerant structures made of green aluminium alloys.
The FLEXCRASH project’s technology aims to contribute to directly reduce the fatalities risks in road crashes, but also reducing CO2 emissions coming from the direct contribution of the lightweighting of car body parts, and from the simplification of the entire supply chain.

The ExpoBages 2023, organised by the Manresa City Council and the Foundation of Tourism and Fairs of Manresa, offered a programme with different expositors presenting their innovations, work and developments of different sectors such as automotive, health, sports, tourism, food and technology.
