Flexcrash project coordinator, Eurecat, participated in the 12th Conference of the Research & Innovation Framework Program of the European Union in Spain held on November 28th in Oviedo, Spain.
The conference featured a poster exhibition showcasing diverse European projects coordinated by Spanish entities and funded under the Horizon Europe Programme. Among them, a Flexcrash poster was displayed as part of the HE Cluster 4 “Digital, Industry and Space”.

Flexcrash was highlighted as a key European project promoting the development of the next generation of crash-tolerant vehicle structures. The project focuses on developing a flexible and hybrid manufacturing technology to produce tailored adaptive crash-resistant structures made from sustainable aluminium alloys.

The event was organized by CDTI (the Centre for Technological Development and Innovation) in collaboration with the Spanish Ministry of Science and Innovation, the European Commission, the City Council of Oviedo, and Sekuens.
The conference aimed to evaluate the first years of operation of the Horizon Europe programme, while highlighting the most significant results to date. Its goal was to support Spanish entities in enhancing their participation strategies and positioning within the European research and innovation landscape.
