The Flexcrash project was disseminated at the TRA Conference, the largest European research and technology event on transport and mobility, which took place from 15th – 18th of April in Dublin, Ireland.
During the conference, Flexcrash materials were distributed, and the project’s animated video was displayed at the EARPA’s own booth located at Hall 4 of the exhibition area. Flexcrash was highlighted as one the key European projects on transport, mobility and automotion coordinated by Eurecat, member of EARPA.
Flexcrash aims to develop a flexible and hybrid manufacturing technology to enhance weight reduction and crash resistance by locally reinforcing the critical areas for a crash event, creating structures that are safer and lighter compared to current solutions.
The TRA Conference 2024, focused on transport transitions to promote a more sustainable and inclusive mobility sector, is the most important European event which brings together experts worldwide to showcase and discuss about the most relevant innovations and future trends and challenges of automotive, mobility and transport.
