The Flexcrash consortium met to celebrate the 2nd General Assembly on 16 – 17 of October in Fraunhofer IWS facilities located in Dresden (Germany).
During the meeting, project’s partners reviewed all the work done, the main goals and results achieved during the first year of the project’s execution and set up the next steps and milestones to be achieved in the upcoming months of Flexcrash.
Additionally, the first day of the meeting included a participatory workshop to test the project’s platform that is being developed by partners from IMC University of Applied Sciences Krems, as well as a joint discussion on the AVVFs testing geometry and methodology.
On the other hand, during the second day of the meeting partners visited the Fraunhofer IWS laboratories.
The Flexcrash project, coordinated by Eurecat, has the objective to develop a flexible and hybrid manufacturing technology using high-strength green aluminium alloys to produce adaptive crash-tolerant vehicle structures.
